Website Redesign and Development

The Springboard Foundation is a non-profit grass-roots organization established in November 2002. Its core mission is to help improve the lives of less privileged Filipino children by raising funds to provide quality education, proper nutrition, health care and career opportunities.

Over the years, Springboard Foundation had helped various local charity groups pursue their projects. Springboard Foundation’s partnership with beneficiaries like Give a Life, Hope Worldwide Foundation, Kinderhilfe Philippinen, and Jesus Loves the Little Children Foundation successfully built schools and day-care centers, renovated pediatric government hospital wards, purchased medicines and life-saving equipment, implemented essential nutrition programs for children, supported homes for abused and neglected children, supported birthing homes, provided musical instruments and art materials and other teaching aids to schools and homes for children.

As part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility Program, The Northern Office (TNO) has recently donated its web design and development services to Springboard Foundation. A full site revamp was implemented mainly for design and navigation purposes.

THE GOAL

  1. Analyze Springboard Foundation’s website structure and layout.
  2. Present a modern and visually appealing design that will catch the attention of site visitors.
  3. Identify an effective strategy on how to make donations easy and secure.

THE APPROACH

Website Development

  • Website Redesign
  • Initial Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Set Up
    • Non-dynamic and Descriptive URLs
    • Meta Tag authoring
    • Complete On-Page SEO
    • Includes content formatting
  • Email Campaigns
  • Content Revamp and Updates
  • Website and Server Security – Administrative and Web Code
  • Sitemap Creation
  • Content Management System

THE RESULT

TNO successfully completed a contemporary design that features a cleaner and sleeker look. The frontpage resembles a slideshow presentation of the organization’s activities. Custom buttons were also strategically scattered around the pages to make the site more navigable. Moreover, to help Springboard get more donations, a “donate now” button hovers on the right side of all pages. Social media buttons were also included to help the organization get into the social media stream where news spread quickly, thus adding exposure to the site. The website content is now uncluttered, organized and streamlined.
